On today, let's not complain about what's not right in our lives. Like Jesus in his Sermon on the Mount know that you are blessed. In whatever state you should find yourself in today, find comfort in this. Matthew 5:3-10 states:
- Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (5:3)
- Blessed are those who mourn: for they will be comforted. (5:4)
- Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. (5:5)
- Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness: for they will be satisfied. (5:6)
- Blessed are the merciful: for they will be shown mercy. (5:7)
- Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. (5:8)
- Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called children of God. (5:9)
- Blessed are those who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (5:10)
On days when it's hard to find strength, the family is gone and you seem all alone, trust in Gods Word to see you through. He has never failed.

Father I pray in the name of Jesus that you would give me understanding in this particular area of my live. Lord God you said in your word to lean not to my own understanding but to in all my ways acknowledge you and you would direct my path. Lord I need that direction and understanding right now and I will stand still until I hear from you.

In the book of Genesis, the first chapter gives the creation story. God creates the world in five days on the sixth day creating man. The seventh day provides rest and is set apart. In these verses of scripture we see God speaking and then what’s spoken, immediately comes to pass. What faith filled (or negative) words have you spoken lately? Do you expect them to come to fruition?

The first four books of the New Testament, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, are called the Gospels. The Gospels tell the story of Jesus Christ from four different perspectives. Matthew, Mark and Luke are referred to as the synoptic gospels because of their similarities. At least 40% of the content of Matthew, Mark and Luke seems to be shared content. Another 20-25% is shared uniquely between Luke and Matthew. The book of Mark is the least unique, comprised, it seems, from other documents.
Twelve Days of Christmas Day 3 - The Holy Trinity

During our spiritual journey, believers continuously experience God in different ways. Sometimes through our own intellect, we experience God the Father as creator or sovereign. We innately know that there is something greater than ourselves even if we can’t specifically articulate or grasp it. We are then invited or drawn by the power of the Holy Spirit to a point of repentance. We take steps to acknowledge our inadequacies and shortcomings in dealing with life's situations and circumstances. It’s the introduction to Jesus Christ and our acceptance of Him as Lord and Savior that brings the gift of salvation restoring our soul and bringing our connection back to God the Father.

For the believer, every answer to every problem can be found in God’s holy scripture. The 66 books that make up the canon’s text, divided between two testaments (Old Testament (O.T.) and New Testament (N.T.)), are God’s Words written by men who were divinely inspired. The Bible is a true gift to those who seek its power, understanding and living inspiration. No in depth discussion can take place in a short article but hopefully this brief overview will pique your conscience to study more for yourself.
